ISMAIL FAHMI LUBISH

Graduated from IKJ (Jakarta Art Institute) as a film director in 1993. He had made several TV series and in 1998 started to focus in documentary film. As a cinematographer he was involved in Leonard Retel Helmrich several international awarding films (Winner Sundance twice time and IDFA also twice time) i.e. Stand Van De Zon, Shape Of The Moon, Position Among The Stards, Flight From Heaven and Promised Paradise. He was also the cinematographer of Chaty Hankel, The Burning Sason, Show Me a Magic and Rise of Eco Warriors.

 

At 2014 he released his first film as director, Masked Monkey (The Evolution of Darwin's Theory). The film was screened in International Film Festival Rotterdam as The World Premier in 2014, the travels to Polandia, Taiwan, Jakarta, Hanoi, Cambodia. etc. Tarling Is Darling is his second of the trilogy film project.
